DE-LISTING OF THE SECURITIES OF THE AYER MOLEK RUBBER COMPANY BERHAD (“AMOLEK” or “the Company”)

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) today announced that the securities of The Ayer Molek Rubber Company Berhad (“AMOLEK” or “the Company) will be de-listed and removed from the Official List of Bursa Securities at 9.00 am on Wednesday, 13 June 2007. De-Listing of AMOLEK

Bursa Securities had earlier announced on 11 May 2007 that Bursa Securities had decided to grant AMOLEK an extension of time until 31 May 2007 to submit its plan to comply with Paragraph 8.16A of the Bursa Securities Listing Requirements (“LR”) to the relevant authorities for approval by 31 May 2007.

The extension of time is without prejudice to Bursa Securities’ right to proceed to de-list the securities of AMOLEK from the Official List of Bursa Securities in the event:-

(i) AMOLEK fails to submit the plan to comply with Paragraph 8.16A of the LR to the relevant authorities for approval by 31 May 2007;
(ii) AMOLEK fails to obtain the approval from the relevant authorities for the implementation of the plan and does not appeal to the relevant authorities within the timeframe (or extended timeframe, as the case may be) prescribed to lodge an appeal;
(iii) AMOLEK does not succeed in its appeal against the decision of the relevant authorities; or
(iv) AMOLEK fails to implement the plan within the timeframe or extended timeframes stipulated by the relevant authorities.

Upon occurrence of any of the events set out in (i) to (iv) above, the securities of the Company shall be removed from the Official List of Bursa Securities upon the expiry of 7 market days from the date AMOLEK is notified by Bursa Securities or such other date as may be specified by Bursa Securities.

It is noted that the Company has failed to comply with the extended timeframe granted by Bursa Securities until 31 May 2007 to submit its plans to comply with Paragraph 8.16A of the LR to the relevant authorities for approval.

In the circumstances and in accordance with Bursa Securities’ decision as stated in the letter dated 11 May 2007, please be informed that the securities of the Company will be removed from the Official List of Bursa Securities at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, 13 June 2007. The Company is required to communicate Bursa Securities’ decision to its shareholders.

Effect of De-Listing from the Official List of Bursa Securities

With respect to the securities of the Company which are deposited with Bursa Malaysia Depository Sdn Bhd ("Bursa Depository"), please be informed that the securities of the Company will continue to remain deposited with Bursa Depository notwithstanding the de-listing of the securities of the Company from the Official List of Bursa Securities. It is not mandatory for the securities of the Company which has been de-listed to be withdrawn from Bursa Depository.

Alternatively, shareholders of the Company who intend to hold their securities in the form of physical certificate can withdraw these securities from their Central Depository System accounts with Bursa Depository, at anytime after the securities of the Company are de-listed from the Official List of Bursa Securities by submitting the application form for withdrawal in accordance with the procedures prescribed by Bursa Depository. These shareholders can contact any Participating Organisation of Bursa Securities and/or Bursa Securities’ General Line at 03-2034 7000 for information on the withdrawal procedures.

Upon the de-listing of AMOLEK, the Company will continue to exist but as an unlisted entity. The Company is still able to continue its operations and business and proceed with its corporate restructuring and its shareholders can still be rewarded by the Company’s performance. However, the shareholders will be holding shares which are no longer quoted and traded on Bursa Securities.

应该算是除牌了！
但可能股码号码太美了，所以Bursa一直容许它排在这里2313。。。
